FAQs
Do I need to book?
We recommend booking ahead. Tickets are available on the day only if there's space in that session.
How long can I pick for?
Each session is two hours, including a short welcome briefing.
Do you sell dahlias or tubers online?
No — Dahlia Bath is all about picking in person. If you'd rather not pick, there are ready-cut bunches at the flower stand by the field.
When do dahlias flower?
Dahlias bloom from July until the first frost. Our field is at its best from mid-August through October, and the more we cut, the more they flower.
How do I make my dahlias last?
Cut long stems in the cool of the morning, get them straight into water, and change the vase water every day or two. Expect five to seven days in a vase.
What if the weather's bad?
We pick in light rain. If we have to close the field, we'll email you and move or refund your booking.
